Are there members here that have powdercoated stock rims? If so, I would love to see them I want to get some Volks, but I am being told they take up to 3 months to get here, so I was thinking about just waiting a year and ordering them over the winter months...but I'd like something different for this summer. It's for a RR Evo, and I was really interested to see what bronze looked like.

What are some of the negatives? I've heard heat won't dissapate correctly from them and can cause cracking..is there any truth to this?

all the info that I have read indicates that you need to pc them with a low temp, below 350 deg.

thinking about pc the stock enkies for my yellow evo. windows tinted dark and think it would look good.....

When I was looking into powdercoating a set of BBS wheels for my BMW, I was warned by several people that it was a VERY bad idea. Apparently, the baking process weakens the aluminum, which can lead to failure. One local powdercoating shop refused to do the work...they'll only powdercoat steel wheels.

Anyway, I would look into this some more before proceeding.
