Ya I'm a chick that drives an EVO VIII. No I'm not asian, No i don't live with an asian and I reside on the East Coast. I'm 20...16 was sarcasim. I never said I was going to push 450hp with just vinyls. I just asked where I could get some. I didn't want to start this stupid thread with everyone getting way off topic. Let's just leave it at, I want my car to look, run, feel and sound like a modified rally. I bought it, Let me do what I please. I'll make sure I show you all the finished product. This thread made me seem uneducated and I'm not. I've been working on cars all my life and now I have one that is my own to work on.

 

Kindof OT but, does anyone know where i can get some vinyl for the front of my junk on track day? Im tired of peeling off rubber

 

I believe a lot of people use painter's masking tape.

And I love the don't need a CAI on a turbo car comments. Yeah inlet air temp means nothing.

you kno whenever we have these kind of threads on evom i always find them funny

1) Why is it that it always seems to be "why would you want to put x on a 30k" car? Hey if you have the 30k to buy the car...shouldn't you be able to do whatever you want with it?

2) Everyone does not have the same tastes and to each his/her own . Personally I am not a big fan of vinyl but when its well done it does look good.

Next couple of things:

1) Girl + her own Evo == rare + hot so thats good enough in my books .

2) The CAI comment == blah...where is the proof that turbo cars don't need CAI's?

 

why is everyone hating on this girl? we should be glad that we got one more girl in the evo family. I don't have or want vinyls on my evo either but I'm sure none of here took a look at the sparco evo or the vivid white evo and thought those looked nice right....oh yeah they can run too. JMO, congrats and good luck
