definitely put me down on the list, i would be interested to see what other options can be added to the panel.

 

I'm going to have to remove myself from the list. I got curious and started tinkering around while I waited and have come up with my own creation. Although this is more "plug-and-play" and may be easier, I have the satisfaction of knowing I fabricated it myself.

Your informative posts answering everyone's questions and explaining the process/delays have convinced me that you're serious about this kit, and that it will be second to none. I guess you know how fast you'd be trashed on here if it sucked

could i see a picture of how it would look with our current hvac controls? all the other ones i've seen putting our hvac controls down there make the controls look too big and not fit and awkward. so im leaning towards ur original idea of using the hvac from a 3rd gen eclipse?

 

this is all i can show you for now. it is a picture (1.2mp camera phone) of the bezel receiving its last coat of primer before it went out to the molder.

don't worry, the grain and color will be a perfect match to the oem black dash.

 

believe me, i am serious about all of my work. thanks again for the support; from an enthusiast to an enthusiast, i truly appreciate it.

is the price going to be any lower?

I think i read you wrote $299 on another thread. Is that true?

 

It appears this kit will retail for approximately $295, given the investment on the whole project, cost of tooling, and other expenses included. I think that is a fairly reasonable price to ask for a modification that completely changes the look of the dashboard.
