Great idea!! i'll look into it if everyone is genuinely interested and see if it's feasible from my end.

That's perfect, exactly what I need! Radio will go where the cubby is in this pic.
How much will this option add?

This option with the DEFI DIN-Gauges will be priced at $485.

That's when you know our kit is reasonably priced.. when the options and accessories cost more..

i should have an update from our manufacturer as to the status of the tooling some time this week. as soon as i hear from them, i'll be sure to relay the news to everyone.

i honestly don't see why we wouldn't have the kit ready for sale by the end of this month. if i get an actual ETA on the first 50 kits and it's under three weeks lead time, i'll open up the merchant services account on my page to accept payment and secure the first batch.

this project feels like a pregnant wife. i'm so anxious and excited to see the final product of all this hard work.. i've done everything short of buying a crib and painting a room

After moving the controls to the new location, how hard was it to install that navigation unit?

it's a perfect fit, but if the unit were any bigger it would take some work within the dash itself to clear the wiring for amplifers, etc.

Nice. How do you like that unit? How much did it cost?

i really like the unit because of sound quality and inclusion of features like pro-logic, srs circle-surround II, srs WOW, etc etc.

most of all, it matches with the interior perfectly. i've converted all of my interior lights to red so that they would match the dash; the kenwood compliments it perfectly.

The following is a breakdown of the prices for the kenwood units in conjunction with the kit:

DDX8017 $1125 (my unit)

DDX7017 $925

DDX7015 $750
