all those cars are staggered in the manner i mentioned ,and are designed specifically for it. the ring and pinions are designed for it. every other car out there is not. hell i bet it's even somewhere in your owners manual to use the same size and tread tires..we're talking about evo's and normal cars.if you really want i will go on for days, and pages and pages of every damn cars specs just for you. thanks for your informitave contribution though....and bacl OT i saw someone with nismo wheels on here awhile ago. staggered setup, see if i can find teh pic...

i hope this answers some of your negative percautions toward something different... large, heavy rims, that dont fit over the brembos that make your car "perform" poor-sliverevo8owner

i mean its fine by me you can ride your 13x6.5" pizzia cutters.. all day long.. as far as im concerned..as long as it makes you fast.. right?...... i started this thread so i could see something different....
Thanks for assuming I was being an ***, ***.

I was speaking it how it is. Not all larger rims are heavy. A lot of forged 19's are lighter than stock, I know. Volks for example. I'm not saying anything that has to do with show and shine is worthless on an EVO. What I'm doing is answering your question. The first part about fitting over the Brembos, yes, you agree with me. The second part, you made it seem like I was being an ***. You ask why there aren't more deep dish rims for EVOs. I answer that the majority of EVO owners are out for a more performanced based size. There's not a lot of demand for large, deep dish rims. If there's not a lot of demand, manufacturers will not strive to produce something with the right specs to fit an EVO. Never did I say, blah blah blah, you shouldn't use big rims, they're terrible for performance..... you must be faster.... performance is everything. Didn't say that. I said there aren't a lot of people geared towards large rims which is why we don't see more available to the EVO.

But yes, I'll stick to my stock 17" X 8" "pizza cutters," or at least for now. I'm going plenty fast enough and handling well enough, and quite frankly, I don't care enough to spend that kind of money on wheels right now.

Do you understand what I was saying now? I wasn't flaming big wheels. I think dish wheels look pretty awesome, like the APR widebody EVO. I was just saying there's not enough demand for them, thus we don't see a lot of manufacturers making correct width and offsets to fit well on the EVO.

Maybe you should be more specific with your generalizations then.

BTW, maybe it's just me, but since when was the evo considered a "normal" car?

when you compare it to 911 turbo's and lamborgini's sorry, i figured since this was a thread about evo's and an evo site, it would be obvious what car i was refering to. i leave out alot of info if i don;t feel it is relevant to the topic. like i siad, i could go on for days. it isn't that general, when you are talkin abotu cars, you don't really include the 4 or five exceptions to the norm. especially when it is highly unlikely the group youare addressing has any of these vehicles. and yes i know someone on here has a lambo. oh,and no flame war on my part BTW. i love you i know i come across as an ******* online, my sarcasm doesn't translate well on the intraweb

I wasn't aware you were looking for pics, otherwise I wouldn't have posted because at the time I had no pics to share. It seemed like you were asking a question about why there aren't more large/deep dish rims available for the EVO. I felt I answered it appropriately in my first post.

Anyways, despite the fact that I'm "blocked out" because of the name-calling, I'll share a few pics. Hopefully this is more like what you're looking for:
