EVO RS stereo options

So I'm gonna pick up my white RS next Monday, and I am in need of some stereo advice. As it doesn't come with a stereo, I know I will need to buy stereo deck, but what else if anything do I need. Suggestions are needed.

TIA

You need to order a stereo bracket kit from the dealer - should be about $20. After that, go to Crutchfield, they'll be sure you get everything else you need. After picking stuff out on the web site, be sure to CALL the order in - they'll go over it again on their computer, which sometimes has better fit info than the web site.

I bought a set of stock Infinity speakers, used, off of here and upgraded to a Clarion headunit(just so I could make all the interior lights red ). Cheap and easy.

NOTE!!!! You can't use the stock Infinity head unit. You need all kinds of expensive cables for the amp and the stereo won't work without it. I still have the HU sitting in my closet...

cool i want to see more RS's guess how much i paid? $20 for stock radio from evoh, 10 bux for rear speakers and 50 bux for front aplines (installation was easy) Iam not a stereo freak Just wanted to have some music - sice i drive to work 50 miles both ways. If you want aftermarket Unit? Get harness for it also when you buy the radio, just ask for harness for mitsubishi lancer I think its like $15 bux. I would get an Alpine.

Thats exactly what I did with my RS. Alpine 9833 and infinity speakers. I converted the change bin on the left of the wheel into an ipod holder. It sound good. But would be a little better with a small amp.
