Removing the amber?
Is there any way to remove the amber on the stock headlights and taillights or the JDM MR tails? I plan on blacking them out, but would also like to get rid of the amber...

... if you were going to go to all the work of blacking them out and pulling out the ambers, why didn't you just do that to your stock tails rather than spend a lot of $$$ on MR tails?

didn't buy them... i'm buying a car from someone and he has MR tails, but I'd rather have blacked out ones with no amber, so if it's not too hard to do, I won't take his MR tails.

didn't realize the stock tails dont have amber... lol. So i just need to know about the head lights. TIA

I already e-mailed him for a price... but if its too expensive, i was just gunna do it myself... I've painted tail lights before (from a jetta III), so taking them apart wont be a problem...

Good luck... I think have EvoDave do mine... is worth the money considering just one headlamp is about $1500.
