Re-sprayed? You mean re-painted? I've had my doors re-painted because they faded to gray?

I did my car in a PPG 2 stage paint. wheigh better than the factory paint bye far , well since I got it wrecked and did a full rebuild on the car . I love haveing 2 stage paint , because it dosnt come off in your rag when you are buffing your car

Not bad for a garage paint job .

Base coat Up to 4-5 coats of color and the the clear 3-4 coats

a single stage paint has all the propertys of a 2 stage but in a single stage, more for high production.

i hated my scotia white on my Evo VII, so i recently resprayed it to crystal pearl white, which i have a super white base coat with a mixture of 35% crystal 20% of clear colour pearl on its second coat and 3 layers of high solid clear coat.

the colour before clear coat.....

White paints with pearls are sick. There was a white camaro that had a red pearl sprayed under a couple coats of white and some pearl. It was like a pearl white at some angles and others it was a bright deep red pearl. it was outta hand the best paint ive ever seen. The said the paint work was like 7500 on a already perfect white car.

The only issue I have with respraying is usually your door jambs and any other area not being sprayed directly look like crap. Then you get all that dust and overspray in places you never can get clean. It's hard to find a good body shop.
