Question Stereo cut out...

I was listening to my stereo today and decided to mess around with the subwoofer control on my Alpine head-unit when all of the sudden it just cut out....I'm like WTF??? I have a 12" JL sub, powered by a JL amp (500/1), and Focal speakers front and rear(Powered by JL 300/4). Do you guys think that this is just a fuse, or something more serious???

PLEASE

You'll probably want to post in another section of the forum.

Did you check the amp? There's a safety mode with all amps that cut when there's a short. Check your RCAs... your ground... fuses (inline from the battery, back of the headunit and on the amp itself)... also check the speaker wires going from the amp to sub enclosure.
