Washing the Evo w/ No water spots ever!!

A buddy of mine recently bought this new Mr. Clean Autodry System, after washing his car with it he brough it over to me to get my opinion on it. He owns a BLACK wrx, and we all know how hard it is to keep black paint clean. Well, I was skeptical and he let me borrow the Mr. Clean kit and to my surprise, the kit was awesome. I *#IT YOU NOT!! I dont know if anyone has posted about this, but as soon as I finished using it, I was so happy with the results I went out and bought one for myself. By the time you are half way done drying the car, the rest of the car is already pretty much dry, and without any kind of spots. No I dont work for the company, I just used it and think everyone who cares about their Evo should get one. I got mine for $15 at a local department store, the refills for the filter are $5-6 and the soap is about $5 and you really don't use that much of it. Good washing.

Yeah I bought the Eagle one spray on that I got with the Pep Boys coupons. That stuff does work great. I agree. Mr. Clean owns though!

I have it and it does not seem to work for me. Perhaps I am doing it wrong or it is not as effective as I thought it would be.

I have a pretty strong water pressure but when I place it in the mode which is supposed to auto dry there is barely any water coming out. It is like a mist and misting my whole car takes longer then hand drying it with my California Dry Blade and Chamois. Plus after misting my whole car it is still wet and I have to go once more to dry it with a towel

Am I doing soemthing wrong or am I just expecting too much from the product?

You basically mist the pooled water off of the car. The misty water is filtered so that when it dries it won't leave spots. You don't have to dry the car.

if you get spots then either you need to change the filter or you missed a spot when misting, if your patient and work thorough its an awesome product!!

I have that thing. I hardly ever use it though. And when i do, all i use it for is the filtered misty water. I hand wash it then use the filtered water.

Yeah, I use it. But I use a different soap. Then I use the filter to spray it down. It works really well. So, basically I use it for the filter part. Any filter or distilled water would work.

When you dry your car use an electric leaf blower, one of the good ones, it gets all the water out of the cracks and off the car without using a towel. Thats what I do.

The MR. Clean works real well I am on my second one just have to make sure you change the filter when it is needed.I can't wait until it gets above 35 degrees so I can hand wash my car again.

Exactly, the filters last about 2 washes at most.

This Auto Dry is garbage. I'll use it on the wife's car but not on my Evo. Plus, in Texas heat you're going to get water spots regardless. Trust me on that. When the paint's hot enough to fry an egg on, it's gonna spot. The rinse section also takes so long that it's much easier to just dry the car with a waffle weave microfiber towel or two. I also tried it with a different soap and it seemed to spot quite a bit when not using the Mr. Clean soap. The finish of the car also seemed to deteriorate gradually after each wash so I'm not sure what effect the soap has on waxes/polishes.
