I'm planning on putting some interior neon lighting in my evo. I'm putting a set up front and a set for the back seats. Me and some of my buddies were checking out where we would place them, and there is no flat surface to put them on in the front. Should i just get a bunch of led's? What's the best way to hardwire them? I dont really want to use the cig lighter because i gotta use it for my radar. any suggestions?

 

why don't you get the power feed from the fuse panel and use a tap?

 

Or you could use a a duplex accessory outlet adapter. It was one end with a male plug that goes into the cigarette lighter and the other end has two outlets on it.

Based on my past experience on this board I hope you don't mind alot of rude useless comments, because you'll probably get some with this type of question. I'd use alot of leds since they don't draw much power and find a power source off your radio harness.

 

Just be sure the total power usage doesn't exceed the fuse rating for the cigarette lighter or else its going to pop all the time or possibly overheat the wiring.

 

just buy a neon tube and zip tie it under the glove box... no one bash him, its his car and hes the one paying for it
