Very nice

Very nice. I like the lip on those rims. How do you like that wide 275 tread pattern?

Huh? That doesnt make sense. Wider is better, and they dont actually stick out of the fender all that much (other than down near the door sill, which even the stockers do). The angle is very decieving on how outboard the wheel assembly. Every high performance auto-x'er I know uses 20mm offset (adjusted) or more on the front and 9.5's or 10's. JGTC cars use 18x13's. I guess I dont understand where you are coming from...anyway its still lighter than stock. Thanks for all the comments guys.

Between the drop and extra grip it handles like its nailed down. Stock suspension had WAY TOO MUCH body roll for my taste, it is a definite improvement.

The car looks awsome but in my opinion(just my opinion) the front tires/rims stick out too much. Perhaps a 8.5-9" rims was more appropiate for the front.

Its gonna get wide fenders as soon as I decide on which ones I want. Like I said before, alot of its angle (the before pics they did stick out WAY TOO MUCH) of the pics. It has relatively mild camber upfront, yet the tread is totally inside the fender. A 10mm seibon or 20mm chargespeed and it would be totally covered.

Yeah it probably should have got 18x9's but I wanted 9.5's to be in the 9.5 club. Further, the design spec for most 275's is with a 9.5. What I should have done (and might still do) is get 35mm offset all the way around (instead of just the front) for the street and use a 3 or 5mm spacer to clear the brakes. I could always use the 25mm for track days where the width would come in handy.

I bet those tires plus the wide rims weigh a ton.

some of my friends told me black/chrome lip wouldn't look right on red.... i think your car is clean when it's obviously dirty ^_^. I want some wide rims that i can fit but without rubbing... You think 18x9's are too much? my car can with tanabe springs i think. they are orange.

You may like the way it "feels" but I bet it handles worse and is slower objectively speaking, looks tough though.

Possibly, but since I have been racing since I was 8 (starting in carts) I think I might be fairly objective. But because I am objective, why do you so state? Simply because of wheel weight or tire selection (this was street only). Double the spring rate + lower CG + swaybars + race alignment = me finding it hard to believe its slower than stock on R compound tires (even my choice of street tire). Most like I will run RA1's for track use (non-autoX) which when warm should grip better than stock advans.

These Sterns are cast yet weighed on a UPS scale weighed 20 lbs. and the tires list as 27. SO I was wrong on that, yet lifting them to put them on the car they feel very similar. I washed it today, and will take some pics first thing tomorrow about sunrise (should turn out good). Thanks for all the feedback.

Stiffer does not always correlate to better handling. But if you're a track ho, back to back times would be interesting. All other things being equal the increased rotational mass would have a detrimental effect on braking and acceleration. As far as the handling issue, you did not mention swapping in new shocks and struts...and I've never seen where it is a good idea to upgrade springs only. The other upgrades you mention may help...

Not trying to knock your car, it looks nice.

Sorry I guess I wasnt very clear when I said full H&R treatment. H&R coilovers (8.2k springs front and rear, P#180-80 60mm ID springs) and swaybars (25mm front and 27mm rear, adjusted to full stiff for testing).

These tires rub at full or very close to full lock only. The rear fenders have been rolled and then pulled.

If you look real close you can see gravel rash on the fender. This was actually from the stockers. These do stick out further than they did, but they are almost 100% inside the fender at the top of the tire (just a little) at only 1.2* camber.

Thank you for all the comments and interest.
