i honestly think his lancer looks good. and the reason i posted it here, is because i took the pics, and me evo is in them.

just thought it would be cool to get his lancer in there.

and to all the people hating on him for making it look like a vii, why?

it's got nice lines to it, and honestly, since they're more or less the same body, anything you do aesthetically to change a lancer, will usually end up making it look more like an evo.

some of you guys get so uppity about your evos.

his car got in a collision, so instead of having the body shop give him new stock stuff, he had them put on the vii kit, and just paid the deductable.

now he has a nice unique looking car, and didn't have to pay out the *** to get it done.

 

Uhh, if it's not one of the ugliest, it's one of the worst, that's for sure.

I'd never buy a Lancer in a million years - I'd get a Civic, Corolla, etc way before a Lancer.

I'm not uppity about an Evo - it's just funny to see Lancer guys pretend they're driving Evos. Should've used that extra money to buy a Civic.

 

Its people like you that can't appreciate the time and effort that people put into their cars, whatever the brand or model, just remember the Evolution is a Lancer Its the base for the Evolution, if Mitsubishi decided to use the Lancer as a base because it was small in body compared to the Galant VR-4, which is the grand daddy of Evolutions, so stop pissing on the small people!

I dont understand why people get so pissy.....Its like were surrounded by little freakin high school kids. If you dont like his car you dont have to speak up just close the window and ignore it? What is so hard about that? On the street do you walk up to someone and say hey your car sucks man....probably not because you could get punched right in the mouth for it. He likes his car and shares the same passion we all do for cars, so why bash him for it....I think the car looks good and with some wheels it will be a nice ride for sure

Some of you evo owners just dont understand. Alot of oz/es/ls lancer guys look up to evo owners because you're driving our dream car. Saying that lancer owners shouldnt post in evo threads is garbage. You guys dont have to talk down to us, a little respect will go a long way. You guys should be flattered that some lancer guys try to make their cars look like yours. I def. agree that EvoM is turning into a negative nancy fest. btw, nice pics.

 

It's all about the passion for the same car brand, mitsubishi lancer. It doesn't matter if it's with turbo awd or just na with front wheel drive. The most important thing that should matter on this forum is how much work you put into your car. You may be driving a $30k race car but what good does it do if you don't know how to install a downpipe? And what were you all driving when you were in high school? Chevy Beretta? Have some respect.
