I had my trunk replaced after vandals stole my wing (destroying both the trunk and the wing in the process) and decided to just have an RS trunk put on in its place. That said, I need to put the Mitsubishi emblem and the Lancer emblem back onto the trunk (and I'll be tossing on the UK badge as well).

Can someone who has an Evo take a couple measurements for me? I need...

1. How far down is the Mitsubishi Emblem?
2. How far up is is to the bottom of the Lancer badge and
3. How far in from the bottom corner of the trunk is the left side of the Lancer badge?

Thanks in advance for the help. I'm trying to get this done by tomorrow and plan on rolling out to a meet in College Park on Sunday with a new buddy of mine who owns a SWEET STI (he's a vendor here I think).

sorry about that, you are trying to put the mitsu emblem on. i just measured for you its 1 1/4 inch from the top of the decklid. dont know about the lancer badge though (i debadged mine)

 

Why are you putting both stock and UK emblems on?

 

isn't that how the uk car came badged? i believe it still had the lancer badge on it (just not the lame evolution in cursive). i have a picture of it on my hard drive at home.

i think i'm just going to ballpark mine to something like this. repping my lancer roots in more ways than one... sometimes i miss my slow old oz rally. we went through a lot together.
