I actually tried the Black Magic this weekend and it worked very well. Plus it was less than 10 bucks! They rated them on durability, ease of application, leaving swirls, etc.

 

and I thought Meguairs was all that

 

they must have not added Zaino to the control group..

 

or p21s/s100. both can be had for 15bucks....

 

I liked nxt on my old car but I feel like I have to wax my evo every week to get it clean. Maybe its time for a switch.

Consumer Reports sucks *****. They didn't try Souveran, Tons of Zymol Waxes, Poorboy's Natty's Blue, Clearkote's Carnuba Moosewax, FK1 Pink Wax, Collinite, and the list goes on....those over the counter waxes suck; they only decent ones are Meguair's NXT, Goldclass, and Mother's Synwax really. Leaving swirls is all up to the person applying it to the car and the pad being used. Autopia.org my friends....

off the shelf wax sucks period.....

 

they're probably looking at more "normal" waxes for everyday cars.

 

I was talking to the head of detail at my local BMW dealership and he told me Maguires Tech Wax was a great off the shelf wax........

 

I use the Maguires Tech Wax. That wax is off the chain! Very good stuff.
