Regardless of the mirror, you will always have blind spots...just some more than others...
i was agreeing with you, just trying to clarify a bit. i used to have RHD Type R mirrors on my civic and i couldn't see out of my driver's side mirror. even when i adjusted the mirror to the max, it only reflected the side of the car back at me due to the mirror's warping.

The driver/passenger side housings are identical. What is different is the glass. the glass is designed for RHD so have a shop cut new glass with the proper optics for LHD and call it a day.
