Red RS w/+22 Gramlights

Got a new camera recently so I figured I'd post up some new pics. With the new camera the car no longer looks orange in the pictures.

To answer some questions up front;

The wheels are 17x8.5 Gramlights 57s +22 offset. There was some pretty bad rubbing in the rear but the fenders are cut and rolled in the rear so no issues anymore. No rubbing in the front at all.

The suspension is the HKS Hipermax RS with spring rates swapped from front/rear, setup and aligned by Robert Fuller. I also have the progress rear bar. Will be returning soon for helper spings and the bumpsteer bushings.

aren't the heavier springs supposed to be in the front due to more weight in the front?

anyway, love the wheels

Negative... talk to any suspension guru for the Evo and they will tell you the same thing. On an AWD car, you want the softer springs in front so the front end can squat and turn in, and the heavier spring in the rear to push the rear wheels to the ground and have traction. This of course works up to a certain point... on heavier full track spec coilovers it might not matter as much, but when you're at the lower end of the stiffness spectrum on springs and for a street setup/ autoX the AWD benefits from the softer spring up front,....

The STOCK Evo has softer springs up front... in case you didn't know.

looking good, but why didnt you go with +30 offset to make the wheels fit correctly?

+22 offset widens the overall track width for better grip and faster cornering speed.
