where it rubs the fender well, is it the inner splash guard thats goes around the wheel or is it the one that is on the side of the wheel, with 255s i used to rub on the inside one...

I need this done to the rear of my car. I know I'm overseas but whats a good asking price and am I better off just getting the tool and doing it myself?

It's a very difficult thing to do properly, and you would also need a heat gun. I'd suggest finding a shop that already has the tool and that has MUCH EXPERIENCE USING IT. It took about 4-5 hours for mine to get done, and the guy had experience, but the aluminum front fenders are so malleable that he had to constantly use the heat gun in succession with the roller in order to ensure none of the paint cracked and so that there were no ripples or waves in the fender. He did a wonderful job, but 4-5 hours is an eternity to be doing that stuff.

Is 285mm wide tires the widest you can go without hitting suspension components? Even if you put a wide body like the APR and install 305mm tires will there be problems with clearance?

285s are the biggest we can go reasonably without modifications other than fender rolling, but you can go beyond that to 315s with the right setup. That would include wide fenders and maybe some modification of components inside the fender well, but I haven't done it myself to know for sure.
