Buffing out minor scratch in my headight housing???

Buffing out minor scratch in my headight housing???

i have a little line scratch in the outside of my EVO's headlight hosuing, I wonder what products or techniques can I use to buff it out?

mothers makes something just for headlights if not 3m to buff it out

Hey if you want to, pm with a pic of it and I can tell you what I think. I am a painter so I am no stranger to buffing LOL, and if your fingernail gets caught in the scratch thats a good sign that it might be a lil to deep to buff out. And I would use 3M products if you are going to try to buff out. But its hard to say without a pic of the scratch.

just wet sand it out.....i would start with around 1500 and work your way up too 2500......then buff and it will look brand new......

This is very true, but you really do not need to go all the way to 2500, 2000 would be fine, but so would 2500 if you want to save some time with your buffer. And 3M products all the way

i just wouldnt worry about sanding it that is unless it looks like somebody took an x-acto knife to it
