****Nokya bulb users click here******

Well, I went out with a buddy of mine tonight and noticed that one of my fog lights were out. So being the obsessive compulsive type, I pulled over and went to take a look. What I found was quite odd and a first for me. The one on the right is the one that was out. I removed the other one just to make sure, and sure enough, the same thing.

Anybody else have this happen to them? I would check just to make sure, it would be a major PITA to have to take off the bumper and housing to clean out pieces of broken glass inside of it. I'm going back to PIAA.

They are stock "wattage" bulbs. I also had the PIAA's prior to these and never had an issue like this.

Luminics makes some very good bulbs. I had the bulbs in my rsx for 4+ years and it didn't burn out at all. I even transferred the H11 Luminics yellow ion bulbs from the rsx to the Evo and it's still going strong. Not bad for $30 with an unconditional defect guarantee. They'll just be in until I order my XenonDepot Phillips yellow HID bulbs though.

i think that happens when you touch it or get oil on the bulb, because the place I bought mine from told me specifically not to touch the bulb while installing. He said it could make the bulb explode. Mine are still fine though and I have had them for a while.

if it says 55->80W, then its utilize 55W and produce a brightness of a 80W. So u should be fine with it.... maybe its just a defective set u got. I use Piaa Plasma yellow, looks and works great!!

looks like you/someone touched the bulbs with your fingers when you installed them.. the natural oils on your hands makes a HOT SPOT and cooks the lens when it heats up.

I just got some of these in artic white, and no problems after 2 nights of cruising and running them for at least 2 hours straight. Here is the link.

I have installed more bulbs and wired more HID systems in my time to know better to touch the bulb. I reassure all of you this was not the case. Just make sure you keep an eye on these bulbs periodically if you are running them.

That's true, that's what the PIAA's I have say on their box (actually 55w-->110) , and that's why I haven't had any problems with them yet.

However, the Nokya's are straight up 80watts which is too much and why I passed on them.
