Stealth mode? w/ write up

Hell yeah!

I've been really wanting to do this for a while, just got around to doing so!

Install time : 35 mins from start to finish!

1.) Remove the overhead console (1 screw), pull off the light cover then there is (2 10mm bolts) , then unhook the harness.

2.) Once it is out, you have to take out the carpet from the sun glass holder.

3.) Clean the surface really good with alcohol.

4.) Make a nice size hole in the upper right hand side of the sun glass holder
(to fit the portion of the SAFC harness through).

5.) Position the SAFC2 in the correct viewing position, cut 2 pieces of double sided tape, and stick it to the sunglass holder

6.) Run the harness from the SAFC2 though the hole you just made in the sun glass console up through the headliner and towards the passenger side a-pillar.

7.) Remove the sun visor on the right hand side (2 screws)

8.) Remove the weather stripping along side the a-pillar

9.) Remove the A pillar (right side, clips)

10.) pull the head liner down slightly, so you can grab the harness from the SAFC2 and leave it by the a-pillar.

11.) Remove the glove box (pop the left hand piece out, and let the glove drop down, and unhook it)

12.) The ECU is now exposed, remove the 2 10mm bolts on the top, and 1 10mm bolt on the bottom. The ECU will now drop down to the floor board.

13.) Remove the plastic piece on the right hand outer side of the dash

14.) Remove the harness from the ECU, attach your (plug and play ECU harness of choice)

15.) Run the “ecu” side of the SAFC2 harness from the ECU, up through the dash (right side) up to the A-pillar (attach with zip ties to the tweeter speaker wire) and then plug it into the SAFC2 harness at the top of the a-pillar!

16.) Re-install and put back everything you just took off! And start tuning!

Let me know what you guys think!

good job! Way to get creative with the install. More people need to get creative with their mods. Sets you apart from the NORM.
