Are you referring to me???? cuz yeah I've been there but prefer orlando and miami over jacksonville....the beaches are always nice... almost all-year round.
Can't wait to see your car in person if you do come back!

Nah man, sorry, I was talking to the other guy from Wilmington (which is about 35 miles south of Jacksonville NC. Sorry for the confusion!!

You're from Kissimmee? I've been to Old Town SO many times (Having more than one way to get to that area makes it easier {192 or 528 was what I usually took})!!! I grew up in Palm Bay. I've been in NC for about a year and a half and I hate it here!!

Orlando is nice, but I really like the coast. I'm not a huge fan of Miami because it's not as nice as people think. Not saying Miami isn't nice, it's just the TV makes it look like it's nice EVERYWHERE......and it's not. Jacksonville FL is WAY too big for me. That's where I bought my Evo and I put 100 miles in a little over a day going to like 3 different places. It takes FOREVER to get anywhere!! Although I will say I will DEFINITELY take any of the stated cities in FL over Jacksonville in NC!!!!

You know what I wish we had up here that is down there.....Firehouse Subs!!!!

Ahhhh Firehouse Subs....Don't get me started! Although I consider myself more of a Tony Romas' kinda guy, love my ribs!

Yeah I thought about that one and was like " Could it be Jacksonville, NC he was talking about...Nah not so the same" . Also I agree with you about Miami and that's why I don't live over there. It is just nice to go down there for a couple of days to relax and to look at all the ferraris, porsches, etc plus the women OMG! .

Hey you can always fly down here for a day or two and we can go downtown for some Firehouse subs and Proccolinos pizzas anytime!

Door sills with scuff plates are out in the meantime. Don't really prefer the way the scuff plates have a dull silver look to them, so I will be polishing them by hand within the next couple of days.

Yea, I've spent alot of time in Jacksonville but I do drink so that helped. Wilmington is alot better. WE even have.....Firehouse Subs here. I thought it had a franchize look to it but I have not tried it yet. It's in front of the mall so it is easy to find if you need a fix.

Are you serious?? You guys have a Firehouse!?!?! I am so coming down there soon. As far as I'm concerned best subs I've ever had!!

I've been thinking about seeing if I can open one here in jacksonville. I wonder how much it would cost. I know the one where I'm from in FL is PACKED all the time!!

Quick preview!!

One is basically finished. It needs to be cleaned up a little bit more, but not too much. Most of the marks in the one on the right are remnants of the mother's polish. I might go back over it with 1000 and up, but that will be after I get the other one done. When polishing by hand, it's not hard to miss a TINY spot and not realize it until later. It kind of sucks, but that's the price you pay when you want it done right.

Will post pics when both are done and back in the car.

In the meantime, let me relate to all, the anger of ordering something and it only half-working. One HID worked....one did not. I was really excited about getting them into my DD too. This was my other project today-- new housings and HID's.
