I disagree with you, Driving the line is a lot of fun and much experience can be obtained from it. After all driving the line is the fastest way around the track and of course the safest way.

Its an Art

No doubt experience could be obtained from it, if you are trying to maximize your track times. If you drive the line on the street you'll end up going head on to on coming traffic.

In any case, if your purpose is to have fun then you have to let the car loose and be able to collect it back. It will help you more if you're ever faced in a emergency situation on the road...

I've spun so many times at Gingerman, it's not even funny any more!!
And I'm actually a "good" driver out there!
Last season I spun going on to the back straight, wet grass - sliding sideways - half way down the straight - scared the cr*p out of me! You should have seen all the dirt stuck in my wheels, it was so COOL!

Lapping days are all about having FUN and don't ever forget it!!!!!!

Also, the reason he spun is because he lifted all he had to do is open up the steering as he was going hot and breath off the throttle.

But good video

BTW no intention to bring down your video at all, I always encourage people to go to the track all the time and stop wasting their money on car parts and what you did is the right thing. I am sure you will be hooked.
Ya that was my third time at gingerman! Acutaly Rich (the Guy who Spun) is the one who posted it. He has it posted over on Nasioc. But ya i mean we wernt trying to impress anyone just having fun. BTW i didnt edit the video or anything i just got the link from Rich.

How long is the track by the way... It looks like you guys have a lot of run off space which is great.

yeah, 11 is the one place you can loop it into the wall, you wanna be nice there, but if anything the thing to do in that corner is loop it back to the inside.

fun times.
