Calling JDP Lip Owners
Correct! 1x1. Makes it worth more than the ebay one IMO as that one is 2x2. Nice to have options though. If I had a carbon hood I would get the 2x2 one but I plan to match the JDP lip up to some 1x1 Rexspeed side spats and the OEM wing and damn thatll look sweet.
i just bought a do luck lip.... but now i'm too scared to put it on cause its so damn expensive and i'm just about to lower the car. Maybe jdp would be way to go. Keep the do luck till my jdp cracks i guess lol.

^ or you could sell your do luck and possibly turn around an buy 2 jdp lips so you have an extra one in case it cracks
and it would be a little cheaper

The size/pattern of the carbon fiber weave. The CF portion of the stock wing is 1x1 for example...meaning the weave is smaller and finer.
It's usually important (to some) to purchase items of the same weave size/pattern to keep everything looking the same. A hood with a 2x2 pattern w/a 1x1 lip will look kind of ackward to some...so some companies offer their CF products in different sizes/patterns to help the customer match.
My understanding is that 1x1 weave is more expensive due to it's higher quality and less probability of imperfections.
