Like the title says: Has anyone modded an Evo 8 w/ an Evo 7 spoiler?

Ive read that the bolt patterns are the same, but looking to see what the styling would look like and the body lines. I searched but came back emtpy handed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, that's the one that came to my mind too! I personally am not a fan. It looks like what Lancers put on to look like an Evo but you can tell something's not quite right. Get an 8 wing or go wingless

 

Probably because most ppl arent used to seeing it, as the VIII was the first to hit the USA.

Either way, its a great spoiler and serves its purpose well. The body design of the VII and VIII are nearly identical save some asthetics.


Also, what does it really matter if someone with a lancer wants to put an evo wing on his ride? Honestly, does it really matter?

 

I think that looks great. Where the heck can we get V.7 wings? I read they are adjustable. Perhaps that wing is more functional than the V.8/9?

Well im in Belgium and I had a guy in the UK ship me some JDM/UKDM E7 tails and his spoiler. The tails have the built in fog, etc. The original owner of my evo didnt get the option wing (tall one) so it has the small spoiler/lancer wing. The e7 wing will look good me thinks.

 

Of course it doesn't matter, but like I said, it looks a little off. Which is what I think of the 7 wing on there. Just my opinion

Yes the 7 wing is adjustable. My friend has one and it does indeed look sharp. To each his own, I'm not too crazy about the 8 Spoiler either. Still, I'm not going to rip it off my trunk
