(To me) I didn't/don't hate the stockers, I just didn't like the color. Plus it cost 2 can's of spray paint and some time, what could be easier?

I am contemplatin the same thing....

Cant decide whether i want to reupholster the current stock evo8 seats or buy some EVO 9 seats? The price of evo9 seats seems to be pretty high!

If i were to reupholster the stock 8s i would probably have it BLACK where it is blue currently and then RED where is is black currently (black on inner, red on outer)

He didn't ask what you thought about it, but if it could be done. All he wants is to remove the blue, why you hatin?

To answer his question, yes you can paint them with the fabric paint. Cheap way out of the blue seats. I have a TB and didn't like the blue so I painted mine too. It was cheap and effective. You aren't going to get THAT much for your stockers and IXs, if you can find them for sale, are gonna cost a bit more than what you get for your stockers. All that money could go towards mods that make your car go faster. Once you sit down you can't tell what is there anyway.

I painted mine charcoal gray. It a little lighter than the outside GG but close. It came out better than I thought. Just a little stiff at first is the only downside. I can't find my camera so no pics. sorry. I couldn't see spending all that money for a seat just in a different color.
