APR Carbon Fiber Canard Removal

Has anyone removed them of their front bumper, does it leave holes? I'm looking at a IX that has them and I would probably remove them, I assume they are drill mounted, so I was wondering if anyone has removed them at all, or do I just have to deal with them, not they're ugly or anything, but I was just curious. Thanks

They're drilled mounted so you will have holes.

I put them on my bumper and yes, they require holes to be drilled. The holes are not that big, so they would not be very noticable but they are still holes.....

Do you think there would be any problems with the holes down the road as far as rust goes?

How big of a diameter are they?

I don't think there would be any problems. Water gets in there all the time. If you want to plug it though, you should go to Home Depot and look for some rubber plugs. They have just about any size you can shove in there. As far as color matching it, you can either pick up a can of paint from paintscratch.com or just lightly brush on some touch up paint on it.

good luck!
