Just a small update...I ordered a Forge Evo15 BOV today from a sponsor here (Scott @ TTP Engineering). He gave great customer service and was really helpful. I should have the BOV here in the Bahamas by Wednesday/Thursday of this week and will post some pics!

Just a few updates...I removed all of the gauges off of the A-pillar that was in the "gauge pod" and installed just a single boost gauge on my steering wheel shroud. I like it alot better this way.

Here's the shift knob that a lot of people around here have been asking me to buy off of me(LOL). I don't think it looks that great, but I guess people want it because it is a JDM brand.

And here are some pics of the new Forge BOV installed

Nice pics!!!!!

Now that you have the boost gauge mounted there it will sure be alot easier to monitor boost while driving.

What PSI are you getting up to now?

I'm running basically stock boost at 11PSI.

Thanks man! I'm running 16psi right now. The car came running 14psi without any form of a boost controller. I've heard many "theory's" as to why I was running 14psi without a boost controller (from the car possibly having a 16G upgrade and on and on(LOL). The car runs great at 16psi which is max I will run it at now since adding in a boost controller.

Yeah..I thought about replacing it, but I'm ordering the the headers for it so it will be gone then anyways Thanks for the compliment

There is a thread about it some where but Mine was running the same when I discovered that the Boost control Solenoid was not hooked up.

What I was told is the car is running "wastegate boost" which means that with the absence of a boost controller the wastegate will naturally open at 14PSI and release the pressure.

During the colder evenings here in the caribbean I noticed that the car started to creep to 15-16psi however which again according to what I was told is the max we can take on stock rods. That's why I now run 11psi on a MBC.

I really like your set up though and if I keep the car I'll probably change to the same BOV.

But yes there is a difference between the BIG16G and mine. I might have to change my turbo so I have done a little research. Yours if it is the Big 16G flows 550cfm while mine which is the smaller one only flows 500cfm.

Before I hijack your thread though...Again nice car.

So glad there are more older edition Evolutions coming on board so we can share some info.

Sounds good man...Thanks for the info! When I get back from the US, I hope to get the headers, change the head gasket to a metal head gasket and put in some studs and then go from there. I too am glad that there are a few people on here earlier generation Evo's. Hopefully if they get enough members with them here, they will setup a forum totally dedicated to the earlier models.
