nice!!! I always wanted to know how to import cars... what % of tax do you pay, etc..

 

Thanks for the replies! I made a small change again with the gauges so I'll take some pics!

As for the % of tax we pay, ours is in the form of customs duty and any car under 20K imported into the country, we have to pay 52% customs duty (equivalent to US tax). Anything over 20K, and you pay 75%!!!!!

 

I decided to move the gauges again and so I got a new dual pod and attached it to the gray A-pillar and painted them both black to match the dash etc. I love the look a lot better with the black A-pillars (as opposed to the gray A-pillar with black pod) and may re-do the headliner black as well, but we'll see. I now have just a boost gauge and a voltage gauge to monitor what my stereo is pulling. When I get the time to finish up the trunk with the fiberglass work etc, I'll post some pics of the stereo

How come the car still have Singapore registration number? Exported to bahamas

 

LOL! They think it looks cool to have a license plate from another country so they keep that on as well as the legit one

krish thats one badass EVO III you gat their. Yup The Bahamas is import tuner city what ever tuner car you can think of is their and we are not talking clones. Genuine S13's we gat em, S15's we gat em, EVO's all versions we gat em Skylines, Supras, Altezzas, Cappuccino's trust ma we gat em.

 

LOL!! Yup!!! New shipment is coming in tomorrow with about 3 Evos's in it. This is the same place I got my Evo from. I'll take a pic of the lot once the cars are cleared so everyone can see the JDM cars

Here's a few pics of a logo I came up with for my car that I put on the windshield (only sticker on the car). Trying to see if I like it. Wanted to set my car apart from the rest so I wanted a small decal. We'll see if it stays. Doesn't look too bad IMO

 

V.8 MR, look at how badly I needed to support myself on the stock seats w/stock harnesses. LOL- and my stint in street class ends..

The car has undergone some changes (safety, support, suspension and motor) and now is an unlimited class car. We're going to GT Live at VIR and Redline the week before.
