Ams Licp
I received a nice box from AMS the other day and went right to installing the LICP. Very nice looking piece. I can't wait to install everything else but I have to wait until my alchy kit comes in. Here are some pics of the pipe right next to the stock LICP and them some pics of it installed. Thanks again Eric and Frank. Looking forward to receiving my shirt and stickers!!

I understand that, I would normally want to use T-bolt clamps anywhere on the Intercooler pipes, however these pipes are bead rolled and do not necessarily need them. If I have any problems with blow off at any time, they will be replaced, but I really do not see that happening. I will put a T-bolt clamp on the coupler to the throttle body though for sure.
looks good but i dont see how its light years better than the stock one.
i dont have any hard datea, but i like the nisei pipe is the large diameter all the way through and the only reduced areal is the coupler to the discharge pipe. its alot straighter to.
looks good though, clean install.

I'm not saying any one is better than the other as we all know that replacing any piece of the intercooler piping does not show much gain, however, the LICP will provide more than the UICP. There is a definite difference in spool, it is much smoother and seems to flow better up top. No hard data, so there is no proof in anything, but I love the LICP. These mods are only to set me up for my mods in the very near future. I decided to stick with AMS for the entire setup. The UICP, mini battery and cone filter are going on when I get the HFS-1. Can't wait.
Dr. SS your nisei pipe looks nice too.

I'll have pictures up of the entire AMS intercooler/piping setup for the stock turbo by the end of this month for everyone to see. I know when I was searching for pics of the various setups it was difficult to find good threads with good pictures so I'm hoping to make the search easy for all those interested in the AMS intercooler/piping setup for the stock turbo.
