everybody should already know that EVO's are faster in a str8 line. they have been since they came to the US. and as for the corners, it's not much of a contest. EVO = Grip, STi = God of understeer

06 was the last year of the EVO IX in the US because of changing crash/safety regulations. it would have been too expensive to update the outgoing model of the EVO before the X comes out so they just didn't make any this year. the rest of the world got 07 EVO's. there are people on this board who have already posted pics of their 07 EVO IX's.

firstly that STi is a spec C which was designed for the track
and they come with black interior and the 2.5 block was introduced in the states
