Same here man, except if I got pulled over enough. I'd eventually do it. Virginia is crazy.

 

NY it's a $55 fix it ticket. i dont have my plate on right now either, but occasionally when i do its bolted to the frame that i modified to zip tie to the vent by the driver's side wheel. I have 2 different bumpers so i just cut the ties to make the swap, no drilling required.

 

in TX, its $100, but I'll figure something out I guess. But how do you zip tie it? I have another stupid EVO question... WTF are the holes that are covered with plastic pieces in the bumper for? I thought that's where the license plate mount went but I can see that's not the case.

 

First off, don't use garbage bag zip ties. We're talking those thick, self locking ones. All you have to do is put the ties through the license plate holes and then through your grill, either infront of the FMIC or on the side. And when you want to take it off for whatever reason (showcasing, new plates, wake up feeling like a rebel) you just take a straight blade to the tie and then the plate is loose.

That's probably because your state doesn't have cameras at every stop light
