I had my HKS Type-0 mounted in my glove box. Out of sight and out of mind. No need to really have it displayed for everyone to see IMO.

TT's = waste of money IMO - just drive off boost for the last couple of miles of your journey.

until your parking brake magically releases and you car ends up somewhere you didn't park it..
trust me happened to two of my friends. both had the parking brake set.
leaving your car not in gear is not a great idea.

i know it may be a bit off topic, but why not get an alarm system with a turbo timer already with it. that way, you don't have to worry where to mount it and it works automatically.

I really like the one planted over the hazards, is there a place to get that? Is that custom?

I had the Blitz FATT on my 2003 Evo. I liked it but the colors of the LED's didn't match the interior very well.

On the 2004 Evo, I had the HKS Type 1 mounted on the steering column. It's WAY TOO BRIGHT to put here. Expect to be turning it off while driving at night. It's like a friggin disco club in the car. Even with dark window tint, it would still be visible from the outside of the car at night.

On the 2006 Evo, I've got the Blitz DTT. The color matched the interior HVAC controls a lot better, but I decided on mounting it out of view anyway. There's no need to have a turbo timer visible while driving. Using the DTT to monitor boost seemed like a bad idea to me, since the supplied fittings appeared to be fairly weak and would eventually turn into a leak. I just left the hose for the pressure line disconnected.

Here's where I mounted the brain:

Here's where I mounted the remote:

thanks for all the good info. About the clock mounted timer i just found that on the forum and im assuming it was done custom. If anyone else has pics please post. thanks. again it does not have to be some amazing custom design. simmple is usually better. Does anyone have pics of one under the center counsoule, below the storage area and radio?
