HELP!! Rainy Track Day + Track Pads = bad wheels

Hey guys,

I did a track day this weekend and as luck would have it it was raining and my track pads created a god awful amount of dust. I'm having a very difficult time getting it off the wheels, especially in the corners (stock MR wheels).

I've tried meguires & turtlewax wheel cleaner, sponge, toothbrush, MR. Clean magic eraser. Nothing works yet. I'm about to soak them in hot water with dish soap.

The brillo side of a sponge works ok, but puts small scratches in the wheels, so i'd rather not do that.

Does anyone have any tricks or know any good way to get the stuff off?

the acid detailers use for wheels as long as there not bare aluminum which there not and a heated pressure washer.

I'm going to get a good clay bar and some Megs Wheel Brightener and try that.

Would brake cleaner harm the wheel?

Is there any aluminum in the MR BBS wheels? I thought they were a mag alloy?
