hey guys. if you want an alternative, check out XtremeAutomobiles.com . I know they are in England, but they are a Ralliart dealer and they sell a good set of Ralliart mats and they look cool too. I know the pricing isn't that bad either. I guess you could also check for pricing on the Evolution VIII emblem for the back of the car too, for all those who are interested. I used to live in the town where they are located. if you are ever in the neighborhood, I would highly recommend a visit to their showroom/shop. it's freakin amazing what they have there. you can also buy 400+HP kits for these cars and they are warranty covered. so hopefully they will be available here sometime soon. try their website though. you'll be glad you did.

its just not right... seriously i had an accord before this with over 110 K on it.... my mats were PERFECTLY GOOD!... now... my evo with 9k on it is tearing like it just lost its virginity.. im goin 2 the stealership on mon... we'll c wat they will do for me

But seriously. Before you flame, did you ever stop to think that perhaps the carpet in these cars is designed to be lighter to shave weight? It may seem like an infintessimal thing to do for an advantage, but it is a consideration.

, look at the STI pushing 300HP but knocks a lot (read from forums). And a vibrating and rattling scoop and wing,... COME ON!!! That's gotta be annoyingly poor engineering! Safety has got to be the best reason for the less than 375 HP engine, since some drivers may not know how to treat and drive the car right, or just drown it in low octane gas and mess it all up. Also, consider the strict US emissions, which is why it is left to us owners to open the full potentials of our cars. They can give us the GSR or FQ versions, but they will be more money. I am sure some of us can afford them, but it is its first year here in the US, and technically, we wouldve demolished the STI if they didnt go with the 2.5 engine, and still our EVOs handle better. The STI in my opinion just hung on the EVOs coattails and added more stuff to the car to try and beat us, since they realeased their cars after we did. $.02 (cha-ching)

Holy cow people...go get a fricken 3 dollar rubber mat from walmart to put under your feet(for your heel) for everyday driving....DAMN! Hell I have a high quality water resisant paper with a rubber mat above that on the floor. Don't even use the mats that came with the car.

some of yall just dont get it.... buyin a damn floor mat is not the issue here... if i can afford a couple thousand dollars worth of mods im pretty sure i can afford better floor mats... THE POINT is MITSU dickt us... and aint **** goin happen about it if yall just sit there and act clueless
I agree, Mitsu dicked all of you who pought an Evo VIII at the beginning of this year. if they would have released enough of them you wouldn't have been raped by the Stealerships, as one guy put it :-) but anyway look at the quality of car you can get for the same 30+k you spend on the EVO. even with the whole, OZ Rally car ****. I own an ES and I'm proud because I didn't pay an extra 3k on a crapy sway bar, gay rims and a lame body kit. I've been very upset with the way Mitsu handled the Evo coming here and I really don't think I'm going to buy another Mitsu even though I love the Evo in theory, because I'll never own one.
