What size/off set are those? They look to be sticking out too far for a simple rolling of the fenders with 255's... the color does look good though.
Oh hell, now the wife's involved... telling me that "...the red lips on the black ones do match your red taillights... you should get those..."!

can't decide size 17x9 or 18x9.5, i do mostly drag racing we don't have a road course track, right now stock height with 245 45 17 good for 1.7 if i'm lucky 1.6 on my 60', going to lower with hotchkins springs, whats the cons of running d 18x9.5with d spacers
I was KINDa in the same boat as you are. i couldnt decide between 18x9.5 or 17x9. I looked and looked all over pics of evos with P45Rs and especially in the P45R wheel pic thread (like 30 pages)....AND after looking over and over at the 18s....they look TOO big for the evo, and stick out a little too far from the fenders for my taste.
plus i personally did not want to have to spend more money on spacers - which i dont trust any company besidews H&R...which i still am iffy about...and also have to get extended lugnuts, and for all this you get a HEAVIER wheel that costs more and costs more to have them fit nicely...AND i forgot to include the fender rolling and price of 18" tires being more pricey
ON A SIDE NOTE i am on hotchkis springs....and i was thinkin of running 255s on these rims (17x9)....WHAT is the advantage of 245s? I thoguht that 255s would be better becasuse more tire on ground means more grip!
would the 245s not require rolling fenders at all? Or only in rear- i thought the 255s only required rear fender rolling.
DO either 245 or255 need front fender rolling? AND saying i get a 255 would 40 or 45 be better for my setup?

Would you guys think a 255-40 or a 255-45 would be better for these rims? what would be the difference -sidewall height? Its 4am here and in too tired to remember!
But anyways , i wonder if i should try to get it similar to stock diameter-the small difference doesnt matter anyways
