Talking So... what was your EVOLUTION...?

Well, in July 0f 99 i purchased this... 1999 Honda Civic Si...

modded it to hell... Supercharger pushing 10psi, dynoed at 227.3hp, but was more finicky than a mother ****er...

ended up looking like this...

traded her in in July of 02... just didn't trust driving her anymore... and it was constant tuning and adjustments...

then i got this... 2002 Mitsubishi Galant GTZ...

had a few mods, I/H/E, suspension, wheels... i liked the car alot, had great looks, but was very uninspiring to drive...

ended up looking like this...

had to trade her in cause i missed the 5 speed, and i wanted something with some more *****...

enter the EVO...

picked her up April 30th...

now looks as such...

So, what's your EVOLUTION...?

Don't have pics but...

When I graduated high school I bought my first car. It was a brand new 1994 Toyota Paseo. I drove it for about 5 years....actually til Dec. 12, 1999. I hydroplaned into a wall and totalled it. It was the best thing to ever happen to me.

Received my insurance check and put a deposit on the first Pheonix Yellow 2000 ITR in Louisville. Finally, after 3 months of waiting with no car it came it. I loved that car. I drove the living **** out of it. I ended up mis shifting and bending the valves and had it fixed, but she was naver the same afterwards.

While owning the ITR, I bought a 93' Civic CX hatchback. Had a JDM B16 swapped into it and proceeded to sink a crap load of money into it. I started getting fed up with both of my tempermental Honda's.

Jan. 12, 2003 I bought my fiance a silver 2003 Escape. While being there, I had my eye on this nice 03' Zinc Yellow Cobra. After about 4 hours of thinking about it, I stripped my ITR the next day and traded it in on the 03' Cobra and sold my hatch the following week.

June. 7, 2003 the day after I closed on my brand new house I traded the 03' Cobra in on my new Rally Red EVO. I was having to much trouble out of the Cobra so I decided it was just time since I was offered a really good trade in being I bought it on the A-Plan.

So as of right now, I own my EVO and a 2003 Escape and that is the way it's just gonna have to be for the next 5 years.

I also had a Blue 99 civic Si, then an 2000 BLack ITR both with a few mods... Prior to those a fully built 1990 Turbo CRX Si, a Modded N/A 91 Civc Si hatch, and a Modded 95 civic Ex...

Now a Silver Evo..

I still have the Type R I just can't see myself getting rid of it.

Looks like a lot of former Honda/Acura owners
