Taking off the original truck badges

How did you guys take the original trunk badges out without messing up the paint?

you can use a heatgun/blow dryer on it to get it off all clean and nice without messing up the paint

Well ur prob. gona get flamed from the vets here for not using the seach button.

But u just heat it up with a hairdryer, and use some fishing line to cut through the foam glue backing. Its very easy.

You don't even necessarily need the dryer. I just used dental floss and a gentle sawing motion to remove the Lancer badge. Wiped the area down with some Goo-Gone equivalent (I tested it on the bottom of the side skirt first) and washed it off

you live in CA so just let it sit outside on a nice day and then use dental floss. Thats what i did and i live in WA, where its much cooler so you shouldnt have a problem.

i just bought a chargespeed carbon trunk...it didn't have any badges. then i just added a UK EVO IX MR trunk badge (which i painted black first)

have you tried the "new" emblem removing machine?

Eurosteamer is very effective for a seamless and sratchless badge removal. It's the best way I have tried and believe me, I've tried darn near everything.
