wax and wheel protectant
im looking for some good wax to keep my silver spot free and shiny. also some good stuff to put on the rims to keep that brake dust off of them. those things dust like hell. usually i have other people wash my car so now that i have to myself i dotn know what to put on it, haha. any suggestions???
Try Zaino Show Car Polish at www.zainobros.com. I only used zaino polish once on my Evo since 1 1/2 month ago and my Evo still shines.
I suggest first getting rid of the factory wax.. So get a system that comes with a cleaner wax..
I used the 3 phase Mother's system.. and I finish with Eagle One Wet detailer spray..
1 - pre-wax cleaner
2 - glaze
3 - carnuba wax
Oh, and a trick I just learned a little while ago: I always use the Eagle One Wet (and quick detailer should work) while I polish off the wax.. it makes it much faster, and it turnes out awesome!!
Or, if u feel like spending a lot of money, go with the Zaino stuff... I hear good things about it..
I might go with that, as soon as I'm done with the stuff I have now.. but I'm not sure, since I really like the results I get with this.. and it's about a forth of the price of the Zaino system...
Oh, and after you do the full system, you just have to wash the car with any gentle car wash soap and while you're drying the car spray and polish with a quick detailer.. (mother's, mequire's or eagle one wet all work great as quick detailers.. and they really give an awesome touch)

For your wheels, try P21S wheel gel... Not a wax, but it cleans wheels extremely well.
For waxing, I'm a Zaino die-hard. It may cost a bit more, but if you put a good base down (I use about 6 coats total), it will last many months, it looks great, and is so easy to use...
