buy the JDM bumper and repaint it..... 1000 bucks thats right.... 1000 bucks for a oem bumper...
Everybody has a ebay O2 housing on their cars why the hell didnt they buy a titek? or works?
There was threads back when these knockoffs o2s came out and everybody said they suck, produce no power, and fall apart, this obviously as you know is not the case. So why pay another 100-150 bucks on a part that has prettier welds and a badge?
There is a simple question being asked, I looked at the pictures on ebay and it seems to fit perfectly, its cheap, and we are all wondering if that is the way it actually is.
So if you dont have any input on this subject other than being a hypocrite dont post.
You are stating stuff that you dont even know, for all you know this thing could fit perfect and you coulda saved 300 bucks but you dont have the BaysonR urethane JDM bumper sitting next to the OEM one do you? Until then you cant state that that one is garbage and that your a uber looser if you buy it and rock a replica that could very well be undetectable to even the JDM nutswinging fanboys.
Sorry if this post is brash but I hope you see my point.
this is not directed at any one person but to the people that clutter threads with undeveloped predispositions.
Amen brotha!!

Had mine for 3 years and it's still perfect!

The Baysonr bumper actually has all the mitsubishi part numbers and markings on the back side of the bumper. They must have gotten a hold of an old mold?

Bump to bring this forward 8 years since the currently available JDM bumpers do not come painted and still cost 750+. Has there been any experience with the bayson R in the past 8 years to follow up on fitment/durability? I have to get it painted either way so the difference is $350 for fitment/durability.

Even a not-so-great fitting JDM-style bumper cover > USDM. The U.S. covers look like f**king sh*t.

350$... Just go with the OEM one imo. Not worth the risk either way

I have experience with the bayson r and I give it a 5 out of10. Fitment wasn’t 100% perfect. The mold is not 100% identical to Jdm. My painter also had issues with the paint adhearing first spray. My suggestion is go oem! My EB Evo has the oem one on it and it’s perfect! Everything lines up great.

There is a guy out in socal where he sells oem jdm rears for 450-500... The bayson R is 400 for a replica. You can find him by sdevoboy on socalevo and he's on facebook evo groups. There is ZERO reason to even look into something like this when the oem price is almost the same.

What is his name on the facebook evo groups? Im a member of a few of those and if his price is as you say it is than that would be the preferred method.
