Don't paint the IC just to remove the "AMS" logo.

Use HVAC Condenser coil cleaner. Buy the Strong acid or strong alkali kind and trust me, it will remove the logo! We did it twice already with a few guy's IC's. You can buy the stuff from any HVAC vendor or probably even some hardware stores. Just make sure you get the commercial strength and not evoporator coil cleaner. (Evap cleaner is usually weaker)

This is what I did and it worked great. After I sprayed the coil cleaner on the logo literally came right off with a swipe of my finger. Just make sure you tape off your end tanks and the top really good.

Painted intercooler

I honestly think you should paint it black no questions, my friend got a buschur intercooler and had it on the car unpainted and it looked okay but we then bought intercooler paint and painted it black and it looked freakin sick as all hell, i then went and did it to mine and i have loved that move ever since. it is more stealth too.
