Pretty much all Evos have the chips. Looked at two new ones at the dealer and they also had them already.

got em on my tarmac evo you can see that the door is recessed in on the driver side

When did you get yours, my friend got one not too long ago and his door sit correctly unlike the rest of us. I wonder if the newer badge Evos are fine.

jesus will this paint issue go on and on 90% of lancer paint es,ls,oz and evo chips its simply a thin coat of crappy paint

I understand if the front of the car gets chip, oh well, too bad. This spot is very abnormal. The other side in the same spot is perfectly fine, not a single chip. That is because of the door is sit correctly.

Please read the post before responding, this is not just normal chip from driving.

BTW if you don't have an Evo you shouldn't have this paint chip. Please do not vote.

i got a white evo too....i have them paints chips too..same side....not as much as you though....i have bout 2500 miles.

mitsubishi should do something bout this....like repaint all the evos and add a clear coat...

Yes the chips are due to the door being misaligned. The dealer usual re-aligns the door and it should be fine after that.
