Superlap 2008 Street Tire Champs...
ok.. we did it.
2008 Super Lap Battle Overall Street Tire Champions
Winning lap time ended up being a 1:56.6 but I knew the car had more in her... I ran faster the day before during practice. If I would have strategized better & guessed better on tire temps I know those times would have gone down even more. But im happy with the time & very happy to take the win.
These events have become really competitive now, I have to give props to Ryan for being only 1/10th of a second behind me. Looking at the final results now compared to years ago.. the gaps have closed in considerably... and it will only get tighter. The times the top guys are running now are pretty crazy....
The FP Red is amazing, I love it. Spool & tire spinning power.. its a good combo. The Robispec KW's put the car in auto-drive, amazing for a off the shelf coil-over. Really happy with the car all weekend, didnt touch it other than tire pressures.
Thx to the Lee Myles/GST guys for helping out, specially Paul..... big ups guys.. you would have been right there with us if the motor held together.

...and Yokohama informed me that the new set of ADVAN Neova AD08's they just shipped me is about 1 sec. faster per 60 sec. of track time compared to the tires I used this weekend....

Awesome job buddy! I dont know if you got my text earlier.
Nils is the nicest guy and has always helped me out whenever needed, he has been hard at work and I can honestly can say no one deserves it more then him IMO.
