just did mine over the weekend just waiting on the decals and clear coat and they will be finished did mine illusion violet

 

alittle hard to see but i painted them black....

 

Sprayed with a standard basecoat/clearcoat. Pearl white from Lexus. Blue decals. They look great behind black bbs.

 

Does anyone know the paint code for the yellow they use on Lambo or Porsche calipers?

Did mine silver with black decals the other day. Its duplicolor silver caliper paint with ceramic. Matches apex silver almost perfectly. Very happy with the results.

Also did my rear rotors and pads. The brakes on this car are a joy to work with

Seems like everyone has been doing silver lately..IMO, one of the best colors for calipers!

 

I know its probably already some wea in this thread, but... Does any one know the name or code for the original brembo red colour? I just want repaint my evo 9 ones factory colour

 

Well I wanted to go with the factory color RED so I went and bought the RED from Duplicolor Caliper paint as well as HIGH HEAT clear from duplicolor and the color is a pretty close match to stock. Bought some ebay stickers for EVOs but they were bigger than stock. The front was ok, but the rear was to big so I had to move the signia closer to the wording just to get it to sort of fit... THIS WAS ANNOYING as i was well into the process to stop... Changed my rotors and Brake pads while I was at it...

 

Anyone heard from Carlos of TCC? I've called and left messages to get my calipers rebuilt and coated.... it's been about 4 days now of waiting for some form of return contact.

 

He does great work, but save yourself the $250 and do it yourself. I'm waiting for the clear coat to dry right now as I type this.
