Yea man i paid a total of like 23 bucks in materials at autozone. Save your self the cash, unless you have OCD or something and have to have these done perfectly even thouhg 95 percent of poeple will not be examing your calipers.

I also cannot get in contact with him via anything. I'm awaiting my GF's 350Z calipers to get coated.

And as far as DIY, it works ok for plain colors, but it is not even remotely comparable to the metallics and pearls TCC does.

I sent him a PM and haven't heard back yet.

$250?? Thats a great price... my local guy wants $80/ caliper ($320) and doesn't do metalics, pearls, rebuilds, etc...

They actually rebuild them for no cost. They would prefer to do so actually. That allows them to check overall fitment before sending them off to you. It will cost you a chunk more then mentioned earlier, though.

Any basecoat/clear will work as well. I can paint, so I opted to paint mine. Ive had a bad experience with tcc, they will never get my business again. If you want them powdercoated, send them to Justin@Detective Coating. He does a fantastic job!

I am gonna be changing caliper colors soon I have a feeling though.

Pearl white from lexus.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, but this took me all day. lol. The logo is in silver, looks white, though.

When I cleared, I started using duplicolor clear engine enamel. I ran out, and forgot I hard purchased a can of VHT engine enamel...

The difference between these two are night and day.

Never will I ever use Duplicolor clear again. VHT went on so thick and clear. It looked AWESOME.

I'm letting these dry overnight and I will try to get some better pictures.

HEy guys just wanted to update. I contacted the ebay seller about the sizing and was totally understanding and gave me a full refund. He said he has corrected the issue, and that my business and his rep were way more important than stickers. WAY COOL. So my here is the link to the ebay seller that can get you CORRECT size BREMBO decals for your EVO VIII and IX.
7 bucks shipped
