There's a cool new toy out called Microsoft photosynth. Basically, you give it a whole bunch of images of one object and it figures out the order and the 3D relationships between the images and makes a "3D aware slideshow". Here was a quick one of my Evo.

Basically, you just put your camera into continuous shot mode and walk around the object you want to photograph, taking shot after shot. Then feed it into the program (very easy) and it figures the rest out itself. Takes like FOREVER to synth (my 60 photos took like 45 minutes) but it is totally automated so does not require any manual care.

Might be a cool thing for you guys to try for your cars. Free too!

Only advice I can give...take LOTS of pics. Empty the card, put it into continous mode, and go at it. The program is totally automated so just take a grip of pics (like 100 or so) and load it all in. Everything else it does by itself...
