Autometer lower Hvac gauge pod
Anyone bought one of these and installed it on his car?
I am wondering about how good the fitment is.
Would i need to sand it down and use bondo to make it fit good or it would be perfect when I get it.
here is the url for the item on autometer site

If you guys could post a picture of yours mounted, it would really help!!!
thank you

It just screws in...
I had it in my previous Evo and it fit just fine. I have one sitting in the garage for my 9, but only have one gauge to go in it right now.

I have one sitting in the passenger seat. Does that count? haha
I'd rather have the radio relocated to the bottom, easier to control with your hand on the shiftknob. I like the gauges up higher where the radio WAS.

I ended up buying this insert as I couldn't find any feedback on it
The quality is impressive as it really looked oem to me ( a tad bit more glossy than the rest of the plastic interior but I'm very picky.
I test fitted it in my car and fitting was pretty good.
2 tabs on the back hold the back and you use the oem screw for the little cuby part for the front.
BTW, you'll need a spcial screwdriver to bolt it properly, those kinda "S" looking screwdriver

As a side note, I'm selling mine as I sold my car and don't have any use for it anymore. Paid something like 80$USd + SH for it, looking for 60$ USD +shipping obo
It is still brand new and I can take pictures if you want

I thought the Autometer piece just takes the place of the cubby hole. Ur pics dont match the product shown in the OP's link. It looks like ur piece just snaps over the cubby hole. Is there something im missing?

It does. You unbolt the cubby hole and bolt the gauge pod in its place.
