Glad to see things starting to go your way with the long, frustrating build. Hope to see it at BR this coming month. I'm sure you could arrange some private testing there on an off date for minimal fees instead of dealing with tons of slow traffic trying to break it in and do your own thing.

 

The car is coming to its final days of assembly,,,We hauled it down to my work for the first base alignment..I did get to drive it for the first time fast...4th gear topped out, felt like being in an airplane going 500mph ....with no windows in it..As someone once said.."good times good times"

What kinda power is it making mike?

 

The power is very good..Its hard to tell the hp,,,The car is so much lighter,that at 300hp it fells like 400hp...

 

May hit you up on that Eric....hear you have the inside line at the Beave , plus I'd love to have you drive it as well!!! Between you, Mike, Jeremy, and I, someone will come to some conclusion on the suspension settings

Can't thank Mike enough on this one, he's snatched victory from the jaws of defeat..

The thing truly is a race car in it's purest form-completly rude, loud, and intimidating; first time I got in it, I stalled it 5 times getting it on the trailer (as Mike was laughing...no sympathy)

Mike's going to button up a few things over the weekend (including adjusting the clutch pedal ) and then I'd like to get it back to the paint shop to finish up a few things during the week.

My Pig's trailer light control box went on the fritz (Mike again saved the day on that one....), so I've got no lights so we'll see how things work this week.

I'd like to at least get on the VDA at BeaveRun to drive the car for a couple hours to get a sense of the break-away and general handling/control and to work in the 1.5 rear diff lock, plus check for any leaks/issues that may pop up.

Stinks that the car can't be driven on the streets, but the VDA is better than going to jail.

It will likely see at Test and Tune on one of the Tuesday session in April, and the Flat Out Day on the 24th.

I'll post some more pics up over the weekend.....

 

I know a lot of us are looking forward to seeing it run. The offer to use the GoPro HD camera is certainly on the table. We definitely need some video of this thing in action.

 

That would be great! We'll probably be able to capture some good "pucker factor" footage
