I have an 03 Evo 8 and am thinking of going with the JDM 9 headlight and i have a few questions???

The 03 evo gsr that i have comes stock with D2S HIDs.

I wanna know which Headlight it is that i need to buy, i see NON-HID jdm 9 headlights and i see HID jdm 9 headlights BUT they include an HID kit with the headlight.


If i dont need an HID kit for my headlight b/c i already have an HID kit. Which headlight do i need.

Currently on my Evo 8 gsr the bulb order on the headlight is:

Low Beam:
HID-D2S

High Beam:
9005

Fog light:
H11

What is the bulb order on the JDM 9 headlights

I belive the "non HID" are HID housings that don't come with bulbs or ballasts. I'm not 100% so I'd call before orderings. The D2S and the 9005 will work in JDM housings. The fog lights are H7s so you'll need a set of bulbs and a H7 harness kit.

 

are you sure about that for the foglight harness kit. B/c i bought the harness kit sold on lancershop.com and they sent me HB4 9006

 

you have to get the HID version becuase the non HID version doesnt have a place to bolt the ballast to under the headlight... well thats how the USDM ones are.
