New Mishimoto carbon intake

I haven't seem any member with this same setup on the forum yet so heres the first (i think)... i wasn't planning on getting new intake but i won it on EBAY for really really cheap by bidding..lucky me... anyway... the quality is great but fitment i can't really say... it looks like its meant for evos running stock upper intercooler pipe or stock routing pipe (ex. Injen).. since my upper pipe was one of those that requires a small battery...the box did not fit...but i was able to do some minor modifcations and relocate some things around...its fits great now. So as far as fitment goes..i can't say since i don't have stock upper IC pipe... it came with carbon intake duct, carbon intake box and intake filter with some brackets. heres a quick pic that i snapped.... looks pimp btw!!!!

How do you like it so far? I just got one on Ebay for $46 somehow. It seemed odd that it was put up with such a low starting bid but whatever. I doubt it'll add any power but hopefully it eliminates some of the hot air that gets pulled in with an open element filter.

I usuallly get screwed but once in a while I get lucky. I got a set of BC cams a few years ago for $50 off Ebay because they had no reserve and they were listed for a Lencer EVP.

Do you have an actual pic of the filter itself.

I didn't think about the sprayer. Mine is modded to be used as my meth tank. I guess I'll have to figure something out for that or relocate it.

i was on braille mini battery kit mounted on stock tray with logic performance intercooler pipes... i had to lower the lower intercooler pipe plus pull down the upper intercooler pipe..plus i had to cut the hose between upper piping and the bov..i had to cut the stock battery tray and it still wont fit..so i forced the piping down even more and squeeze the box in and holding the intake duct with some zip ties.... but all these problem wouldn't exist if i was still on stock pipe setup..... the filter itself does hit the spray bottle.. it came with two bracket to mount the filter to the box so i wont move..i had to remove both brackets for the filter to move around freely so i can squeeze it in with the sprayer bottle...

and my fujita intake pipe is too short to fit the filter so i had to get an longer coupler to make it fit..... this setup just seem like its meant for stock engine but will work with some minor modifications

There is no "intake". It's just the carbon shield and ram air tube with a cone filter and the hardware to mount it. Really it's just meant to get rid of the stock box and replace it with a nice carbon piece.
